Today, I am feeling free. Released from the shackles of the pandemic, my travels begin again. On the beaches of North Carolina, the company of my besties, this is a new beginning again. I feel alive again and ready to live every lost moment two times over…….

The serenity of the beach has always beckoned to me and today it calls me ever so softly but twice as strongly. The sound of the waves is like music to my ears, sometimes softly whispering hopes of a new day, and at other times roaring fiercely grabbing me to let loose, enjoy the wild ride that is life.

The long walks on silky smooth sand perfectly complemented the thoughts, wishes, longings and fears shared by friends with roots of friendship at least two decades deep.

We walked park trails and saw lighthouses. As down to earth as it maybe, Carolina beach is perfect for lazy summer afternoons and sweet relaxations- pure bliss!

This new chapter has just begun, and I can’t wait to turn the pages. So much to do, so much to feel and experience and so many precious moments to share with friends and families in lands far and near, new and old vistas, all waiting to be explored!
